Homemade TWIX Bars


1 lb. butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
4 Tbsp. karo syrup
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 pkg. chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

Cream together 1/2 lb. butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar. Add 2 cups flour. Knead. Pat into a 9x13 pan. Or a cookie sheet. Depending on how thin you want it. Bake for 15-20min.

For the filling. Combine, 1/2 lb. butter, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 cup sweetened condensed milk, and 4 Tbsp. Karo. Bring to a boil-let it cook to a light brown coffee color. Cool mixture slightly, pour over the crust. And put on 1 package of chocolate chips. Let them melt and then spread. Enjoy!
